Fada Drogba’s Theorem on Love

When it comes to dating, the most commonly asked question is, “How can a Christian date without offending God?” As a Christian, one desires intimacy with God, but one also yearns for intimacy with human beings.

The first thing to know is that it is not sinful to be sexually attracted to an opposite sex. Sexual intimacy is a great gift from God. One might think that the more holy one is, the more one’s sexual desire disappears. No! I tell you, even the monks in the monasteries are not free from sexual desire.

In fact, the closer one gets to God, the more one becomes a man or a woman. God’s plan is not to eliminate your sexual desire, but rather to perfect it in love. How does this take place, and how can one know where to set boundaries when it comes to affection? To be continued next week….
