A real estate firm, Esso Properties, says they are in Awka to solve the housing needs of the people devoid of the usual problems currently faced by property seekers in Nigerian cities. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Esso Properties, Mr Smith Ezenagu, disclosed this during the official unveiling ceremony of the firm at Parktonian Hotel, Awka, February 13.
The unveiling was preceded by a road walk, the previous day which culminated in the opening of the proposed site of Sunray Estate at Amansea, Awka North LGA.
Speaking at the unveiling which was attended by various stakeholders, Ezenagu said one of the major challenges of land buyers and even supposed owners in the Eastern part of Nigeria and in the entire country, was the issue of validity and integrity of land documentation, as well as authenticity concerning the claims of land speculators and sellers.
Noting that the problem of fraudulent and multiple land sales had given rise to many litigations across the country by individuals and families, he said that should no more be an issue as Esso Properties had chosen to rise up to the challenge by providing a system that ensured a peaceful transfer of land rights and documents to potential buyers.
‘Land purchase should be a dream come true and not a nightmare. And that is why we are in Awka today to offer you your dream home at your budget with flexible payment option and hand over to you ,an authentic and officially certified property document without rancor and without acrimony that will guarantee you peace of mind so that you will live happily ever after,’ Ezenagu said, while enjoining the people of the state to leverage what he described as the unique opportunity on offer.
He said his group had devised innovative/creative real estate products aimed at delivering first-rate, affordable and secure property ownership for both the top and low income earners, disclosing that they had three distinct Estate Models; namely; Berry Prime, Sunray and Summer View; all built to meet the high, medium and low income individuals.
Ezenagu assured of sincerity, transparency, respect and gratitude to their-would be clients, partners, workforce and players in the real estate value-chain, describing Esso Properties as an emerging force in the industry and further added that they had delivered several projects in Lagos and Awka, while aiming to get to Enugu, Asaba and Abuja within the next 10 months in order to reach their target of delivering 2, 500 properties before the end of the year 2021.
Earlier; while speaking about the features of Sunray Estate at Amansea, the head of marketing, Esso Properties, Mr Humphrey Odie, said it contained 300 plots which could be purchased at the cost of N9.6M with a deposit of N1M.
He also said that the estate would contain terraces, bungalows, 4-bedroom detached apartments, 5-bedroom detached apartments, recreation facilities, shopping mall, lawn tennis courts, as well as adequate security and proper drainage system.
Odie said the estate was open to all classes of people, depending on their budgets.
