Elista House of Talents Television Reality Academy and Skills Vocational Training has called on Nigerian youths to embrace social developmental skill acquisition and exhibitions which will enable self-dependency and dream actualization.

They stated this during an interview with Fides in Awka, last Wednesday.

The Producer/Director of the Academy, Engineer Ifys Ifeanyichukwu Aguocha, regretted that the country, despite her vast potentials and human resources, was still faced with such problems as unemployment and youth restiveness.

He said the programme would ameliorate such problems, giving its target audience as youths, teachers, holiday making students and out-of school persons of all cadre who nursed the ambition of learning one skill or another to ameliorate their given vocations or careers, noting that they would be trained towards achieving their mastery in technology, entertainment, social services – such as music, modelling, acting, solar energy, dancing, electronics, computer, catering services, cosmetology, generator repairs, photography, fashion and designing, amongst others.

‘It’s a television reality show to be transmitted on CTL Africa and other prominent television stations in the country,’ Aguaocha noted, adding that the training which would be the first of its kind in the country, would be taking place in Awka, Anambra State, from October 2018 to February, 2019, and would be open to all persons wishing to participate, irrespective of age or social status.

He said that certified participants would further benefit from the project in the following areas: free scholarship for students at all levels, free career support service (CSS) for all non-students, empowerment grant for all certified participants, and practical skill knowledge in any chosen area of choice for all participant.

In consideration of the benefits of this project, the Elista House of Talents is appealing to all individuals for support in any of the areas in order to change society for the better.

Aguocha however called for support from the Church, schools and communities, even as he bemoaned the activities of those he called intellectual property thieves who sat in offices and stole from other people’s proposals.

He urged those interested in being part of the programme to pay the sum of N38, 000 to cover feeding, accommodation and other training materials.

Such monies are to be paid through Access Bank account number: 0056031218 to Hoary Empire Limited or at the project office.
