Divine Mercy Compassion Orphanage home Amawbia in Anambra state, had their last February 14 Valentine day celebration made more memorable with the visit of Simeon Ebekue and his friends. Simeon and friends donated lots of items for home and pantry needs to the little kids at the home.
Speaking to Fides School Run, Simeon who hails from Neni said he was motivated by the passage of Acts 20:35 which says “It is more blessed to give than to receive”. In the words of Simeon ‘When you treat others the same way you want them treat you, a chain reaction of positive energy just flows. A practical way to do this is to give yourself to others (ie. the less privileged), by giving them your time, your money and gifts, and most importantly, your love because, givers never lack” he said.
He concluded by appealing to his friends to help anybody in need, and await heavenly reward.
