…Distributes 3rd Phase of COVID-19 Palliatives

The member representing Aguata I State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Cater Dike Nnamdi Umeh, recently distributed his third phase of COVID-19 palliatives across the 9 wards in Aguata I State Constituency.
The distribution of items which was done in an orderly fashion, witnessed praises and jubilation from the people of Aguata I State Constituency.
Speaking retrospectively while distributing the item, Hon. Umeh said that despite the hardship occasioned by the pandemic, he was able to provide for those he was representing, noting that he had always placed Aguata I first before anything else.
The lawmaker stated that the first phase of the palliatives was done through the Councilors in Aguata I State Constituency and that he distributed hundreds of thousands of hand sanitizers, face masks and gloves, coupled with intensive sensitization of the masses across all villages and wards in Aguata I Constituency, using the Councillors.
Dr. Umeh who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health, said the second phase of the palliative distribution was earmarked to provide all sorts of foods stuffs to struggling individuals, especially septuagenarians, widows, and people whose source of income was affected by the deadly pandemic.
The legislator noted that he decided to be deeply involved by personally touring all the nine wards in Aguata I Constituency, ranging from Umuchu Wards I and II; Achina Wards I and II; Uga Wards I and II; Akpo; Amesi; and Nkpologwu.
‘I also supervised the massive distribution of cash, facemasks and assorted foodstuffs like rice, beans, yams to all my constituents,’ Hon Dike said.
According to one of the recipients, Aguata I, had not had it this good before. They urged him to keep doing what he was doing, praying God to bless him.
