‘Break Not’ Bishop Okoye Charges AUSTICA Graduates

The Auilliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev Jonas Benson Okoye, has charged school certificates graduates of AUSTICA Memorial College Nanka, to take their good formation in AUSTICA to the outside world. Bishop Okoye gave this charge in his homily, on the occasion of the End of Academic Session /Graduation and Send off Parties, for both SSCE students and Seminarians, on Sunday July 15, 2018 at the school premises, Nanka.

The prelate admonished the outgoing students and Auxilliaries as well, to always be focused, strong and consistent. ‘A chain is as strong as its weakest point. One’s level of greatness is same as his weak point. Be focused and consistent so as not to give in to relapse that will break your dream’ the bishop advised.

He appreciated the tremendous effort of the school management in terms of school upgrade in structures and resources. Some of the projects included tilling, building reroofing, Solar light/CCTV Security light Installation and drilling of additional boreholes to aid the school in terms of revenues. He thanked the school principal, Fr Barr Obiora Okeke, his assistant Fr Jeremiah Ikezue for their tireless efforts in turning the school around positively.

Other activities like cultural dances, graduation march, presentations and merriment spiced up the day.
