…As Senator Umeh Donates Chapel to the Alma Mater

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Chapel Adazi Nnukwu, has been dedicated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor.
The Chapel, located inside Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School Adazi-Nnukwu, was built and donated by an old boy of the school, Senator Victor Umeh.
During his sermon at a Mass to commemorate the event, Bishop Ezeokafor stated that a church was a house of God where the faithful met the Lord through communication in prayer. He added that a church was not a place human beings did as it pleased them but a place of worship and adoration.
He commended the Chapeldonor for fulfilling the promise made to God on May 22, 2016, and also for giving back to his alma mater, a Chapel where Holy Masses could be celebrated for students.
Umeh, who later received Papal blessing through the bishop and a gift from the students, thanked the bishop; the former school Manager, Rev Fr. Theodore Ekwem; the present school Manager, Rev Fr. Augustine Oguine, and a host of others that contributed to the building of the Chapel.
The Chapel dedication was attended by Bishop Jonas Benson Okoye and Peter Cardinal Okpaleke, both of whom were represented; traditional rulers and many other dignitaries.
