Fides Media Living the Faith

Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Awka, last Saturday, March 13, 2021, paid a visit to Fides Media, the Social Communications Department of the diocese he shepherds. The purpose of his visit was to inspect gadgets that were donated to Fides Media by Rev. Fr Chuma Anyaka.
It will be recalled that Fr Anyaka had on Thursday, February 25, 2021, donated a number of communication gadgets to Fides Media, saying it was his way of supporting evangelization through communication media.
He had said say that his decision to make the donations was hinged on the fact that he had retired and was hanging his gloves in active communication, adding that he thought it wise to donate them for the growth of the Church and society.

Bishop Ezeokafor during the inspection, expressed joy at Fr Anyaka’s gesture and simply said, ‘This is good’.
While the Director of Fides Media, Rev. Fr Dr Martin Anusi, presented him the gadgets, the Catholic prelate also appreciated Fr Anyaka for not just donating the equipment but also keeping them in good shape.
Alongside, alongside the donated communication gadgets were hard copies of their manuals. Also, Fr Anayka in the second batch of items he donated, which he noted were missing in the first batch, included a flash drive containing the soft copies of the gadgets’ manuals.
Fr Anusi commended the priest for not being carefree with the items, while he described Fr Anyaka as one who was meticulous. He therefore, urged young people to take heed and learn how things were properly done.
Included in the donations were still and video cameras, microphones, studio light, tripods, headphones and others.
