The MD/CEO Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), Mr. Patrick Chiezugo Obiefuna, has presented about 500 brand new and customized nose masks for use by all ARTMA staff.
According to the ARTMA Chief Executive, the nose masks were specially designed for the agency alone.
During the presentation, the ARTMA boss stated that the face masks were part of his effort to support the Anambra State Government in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
The MD/CEO who handed the nose masks over to the ARTMA General Manager (GM), Mr. Chidi Umezinwa, directed that the masks be evenly distributed to all ARTMA staff.
Mr. Obiefuna further stressed that the fight against COVID-19 pandemic was for everyone, especially some of them that dealt directly with the public, emphasizing on personal hygiene as the best way to ward off the pandemic.
He added that part of it was to ensure that all wore their nose masks, observe social distancing and washing hands with soap and water often.
The ARTMA boss reassured all the officers and men of the Agency of the government’s continued support to ARTMA once they dedicated themselves to their duty.
Handing over the masks to the GM of the Agency, the MD/CEO, directed that all the junior officers of ARTMA should be well tutored by their leaders on the benefits of wearing of the nose masks as they performed their respective duties.
