Anambra State Government reassures on its commitment to NYSC

…. as Baderinwa performs first official outing, visits the Anambra

State NYSC Governing Board Chairman.

Anambra State Government has reassured the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) of its commitment to live up to its expectations towards the scheme. The government gave the assurance last Wednesday, June 30, 2021 when the new NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa Yetunde, paid a courtesy call on the State Commissioner for Youth development & Creative Economy, Prof. Theresa Nkechi Obiekezie, at the Government House, Awka, Anambra State.

Prof. Obiekezie who doubles as the Chairman of NYSC State Governing Board in the state said the government is fully committed to the NYSC and pledged their support and readiness to work with the coordinator.

In her reaction, Baderinwa appreciated the commissioner for the warm welcome and pledged to sustain and foster the existing cordial relationship between NYSC and the government.

Earlier, the former State Coordinator, Mr Kehinde Aremu-Cole who accompanied Baderinwa during the visit expressed appreciation to the state government and especially the Governor, His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano for the maximum support offered to him during his tenure. He further appealed for the sustenance of the same support for his successor.
