The Anambra State Council of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), in collaboration with the Society for Equity, Justice and Peace (SEJUP), is to organize a debate for candidates of all political parties in the state for senatorial and Federal House of Representatives elections, tagged, The Mace Debate.
According to the state chapter chairman of RATTAWU, Hon Mrs Maureen Enujioke, a.k.a. MaurynStone, the Mace Debate, Anambra 2023, will serve as the official platform for all the senatorial and Federal House of Representatives candidates of different political parties across the three senatorial zones in Anambra State, namely: Anambra Central, North and South, to showcase their manifestoes to their various constituents.
‘The Mace Debate, Anambra, 2023, will be transmitted live simultaneously in all the radio and television stations across Anambra State and beyond, including social media live streaming,’ Enujioke explained.
The dates for the showpiece event which will be held at Emmaus House, Arthur Eze Avenue, Awka, have been given as Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd February, 2023, and will start each day by 12 Noon.
