Anambra Indigenes, Confident Soludo will Transform State

Anambra people are still optimistic that Prof Chukwuma Soludo will not disappoint the people of the state over their choice of him as the next governor of the state.

There had been jubilation on November 10, 2021, when Soludo, a former Governor of CBN was announced the governor-elect of the state. He will be sworn in on March 17 this year, as the next governor of the state.

An Awka based engineer, Chief Chuks-Michael Mofunanya, who spoke to journalists on the expectation of the people as Soludo prepares to take office, expressed optimism that the financial expert would perform exceedingly well when he assumed office next month.

‘Looking at how the Governor-Elect transformed the Nigerian banking system when it seemed that all hopes were lost, his exploits as a consultant to many international organizations, among others, I’m hopeful that Ndi Anambra are in for fruitful days ahead under the incoming administration,’ Mofunanya enthused.

A member of staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Dr. Chinedu Ekweonu, speaking on his expectations, said that Prof. Soludo had demonstrated the character of a man who would perform in office, based on what he had seen so far.
