Anambra CSDA Empowers Communities

. . Assures Speedy Implementation of On-going Projects

Penultimate Friday, Anambra CSDA organized a one-day Re-sensitization and Accelerated Project Implementation meeting for all the PGs, CPMC & GPMC Chairmen of all the 37 Communities & Vulnerable Groups currently benefiting from ANCSDP-AF.

The event which served as a capacity building, information sharing and conflict resolution session was held at IDK Learning Centre Hall in Awka, and it created the opportunity to re-sensitize both the PGs and the different Project Management Committees on their expected roles in ensuring speedy and successful implementation of approved micro projects in their various communities under CSDP-AF.

The members of the ANCSDA team present at the meeting were the GM, Mr Chudi Mojekwu, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager (MEM), Mr Chuddy Nworah, Project Internal Auditor, Mrs Stella Amaduche ACA, Communication Officer, Mr Nnamdi Onuzulike, Operations Officers, Mr. Kingsley Chukwuka and Mr Jerry Nwafor.

During the event, the GM, Mr Mojekwu took the participants on the journey so far with the project in the state as well as their expected roles as key stakeholders while the MEM, Mr Nworah, did a chart presentation for the participants on the progress report of various on-going and completed project implementations and its associated costs under ANCSDP-AF.

Many questions were asked and clarifications sought by the participants. These were properly addressed by the ANCSDA team led by the GM to the satisfaction of the participants. Both the participants & the SA team present unanimously agreed to work together to ensure speedy and successful implementation of all on-going micro projects in their various communities. As at the last count, 13 micro projects have been completed while the remainder of the 80 approved micro projects are in various stages of completion in the communities.

These 13 micro projects from different sectors were completed in less than three months of its commencement.
