Anambra CP Pays Courtesy Visit to FRSC Sector Commander

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye, Tuesday paid a courtesy call to the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Anambra State Command, Corps Commander AdeoyeI relewuyi.

In a press statement signed by  RC Margaret B. Onabe, AG Sector Public Education Officer, for the Sector Commander FRSC Anambra State, Adeoye said his visit was because he cherished collaboration among sister agencies, as, According to him, the work could not be done by one organization alone.

He pledged to work in synergy with FRSC to serve the people of Anambra in saving life and property. Adeoye was recently appointed Police Commissioner in Anambra State after a ten-year stint in the state under different capacities.

Welcoming the CP, the Sector Commander, Irelewuyi, pledged to maintain what he described as the good synergy between FRSC and the Anambra State Police. He informed the CP of the ongoing enforcement of number plate violation relating to fake number plate production as directed by the FRSC Headquarters, Abuja, for total clamp down to which the CP pledged his full support towards the enforcement.

The Commissioner of Police also visited the FRSC NVIS Plant,Awka (where number plates are being produced).

A souvenir fancy number plate was presented to the CP by the Sector Commander at the NVIS Plant.

The CP, visibly elated by the visit, thanked the Sector Commander for the warm reception and urged officers and men of the Command to keep up their good work.

Highlights of the visit were quarter guard inspection and exchange of Plaques by the Sector Commander and the Commissioner of Police.
