Aguata-Born Miss Africa World Takes Developmental Projects to Anambra, Lagos

The Aguata, Anambra State-born current Miss Africa World, Queen Uche Umeagukwu has taken to her home state, Anambra and Lagos State, her Online Company Card and Take Children Back To School Developmental Projects for the improved welfare of the women and the children.

Queen Uche Umeagukwu, who stated this during the recent grand receptions in her honour at Aguata Local Government Secretariat and Igwe Chidi Stephen Ezenwugo’s Palace, Uga, Aguata L.G.A, respectively, said her foundation was committed to women and children empowerment.

On the Online Company Card Business, Miss Africa World, said her foundation would, through the project, take pictures of goods which market women sold at even community market, and showcase the goods in a website, where buyers from any part of the world would patronize the goods, and same will be delivered to the buyers, no matter their location in the world.
Queen Umeagukwu, who hails from Umuoru Village, Uga, Aguata L.G.A, Anambra State, said the Online Company Card Business Project, through which many market women would be empowered, would take off from Oshodi Market, Lagos State; Oye Uga Market, Anambra State, and some other states in Aguata L.G.A, Anambra State.

To ensure stable success of the Online Company Card project, the queen said her foundation would also train some women on computer skills to assist in the online business delivery.
The Miss Africa World, who is a Brand Ambassador for Out-of –School-Children in Lagos, said her foundation is running a programme through which all children of school age in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State and Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State who were out of school would be sent back to school for qualitative formal education.
The beauty pageant winner, who also owns Uche Cancer Foundation, called on the Aguata Local Government boss to partner with his Oshodi-Isolo counterpart to ensure success of the Out-of-School-Children Project.

Queen Umeagukwu extolled the President General of Uga Improvement Union, Chief Sir James Umezuluora (KSG) and the entire people of Uga for the beautiful new look of Oye Uga, saying that the market has been raised to the level of an international market. She said she was happy to be home after the very competing beauty pageant she won in USA recently, and also donated computer sets to Aguata Local Government Council, Area Command Uga and others.

The queen equally brought an owner of Japanese Company that deals in recycling of wastes to partner with Anambra State Government for state development. She noted that the wastes after they were recycled, would be mixed with cement and concrete, and used in the filling of potholes on the roads.
