Ahead of the 2019 General Elections, an Oraeri, Aguata Local Government Area-born reliable leader, Comrade Emma Ezeokafor has offered himself for credible representation of the Aguata II Constituency, Anambra State House of Assembly on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
Comrade Ezeokafor, who made his intention known to APGA stalwarts at the party secretariat, Aguata recently, said it was his desire to give the good people of Aguata II Constituency credible representation.
The aspiring legislator, who is currently the Director of Protocols of Oraeri Development Union (ODU), served creditably as the immediate past President of Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria, Awka Diocese (CLCNAD), a former president of Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON), Awka Diocese and an interim president of Catholic Men’s Organisation (C.M.O), Awka Diocese, promised to sustain and surpass the current standard set in Aguata II Constituency, if given the votes to serve.
Pointing out that it was God who chose leaders, Ezeokafor assured the people of Aguata of a God fearing, people-oriented, integral, purposeful and creditable representation they would be very proud of, if he is given the mandate to represent Aguata II Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
In his remarks, the President General of Oraeri Development Union, Mr. Okey Atueyi, described Comrade Emma Ezeokafor as a plausible and responsible leader, who had never disappointed his people in all the leadership positions he held, both in the past and in the present.
Atueyi, who described Ezeokafor as a leader whom God endowed with so many potentials and good qualities, stated his conviction that he (Ezeokafor), a man of the people was the best choice for Aguata II Constituency.
On his part, the APGA Chairman of Aguata L.G.A, Hon. Obiora John Ezechukwu, on behalf of the party, assured Ezeokafor of all possible support, to make his intention of credible representation for Aguata people achievable.
