Mrs Moriyike Pade-Omishakin, Representative of National Orientation Agency, NOA, last Saturday, February 13, charged the 2020 Batch A Corps Members to ensure they add value to themselves in anything they engage themselves with in order to contribute their quota in the development of the country.
Pade-Omishakin stated this while taking the corps members through lectures on core values and value reorientation at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.
‘National value breeds progress and positive change in humans and the nation at large, ensure you do things differently and positively, rather than following the crowd,’. She said
She further charged them to embrace skill acquisition, stressing that it brings about a positive change and adds more value to the individual involved.
‘Learning a skill is important and it should bring about a positive change in you and add more value to your life,’. She added.
Subsequently, she told the corps members to work towards being good ambassadors of the scheme and that of the country at large by educating those around them on the need to do the right thing even when no one was supervising or monitoring them.
