1,559 Corp Members Concludes Orientation Course in Ebonyi State

As the 2021 Batch A Stream 11 Orientation Course comes to a close in Ebonyi, Mrs Mercy Bamai, State Coordinator, Ebonyi State, charged corps members to leave Ebonyi State better than they met it, by ensuring they contribute their quota in the development of the state in particular and the nation at large.

Mrs Mercy Bamai, State Coordinator, Ebonyi State at the passing out parade of 2021 Batch A, Stream II corps members at the NYSC Ebonyi State orientation camp.

Declaring the orientation course program closed, Mrs Bamai congratulated the corps members for exhibiting a high sense of discipline, commitment, dedication to duty and team spirit, adding that they participated wonderfully in all camp activities.

Speaking further, the SC disclosed that about 1559 CMS passed out from the exercise and have been posted to the 13 LGA’s of the state, putting into consideration the NYSC posting policy which stipulates that, corps members be posted to the four critical sectors of the economy, which are Education, Rural Infrastructure, Health care and Agriculture.

She urged them to accept their posting in good fate and settle down quickly in their places of primary assignment, to integrate with the host communities for the Igbos are very hospitable.

Bamai, in her speech, encouraged corps members to be good ambassadors of the nation, avoiding acts that can tarnish the good image of the scheme, their families and the nation, calling to memory the unity March by the CMS in remembrance of NYSC @48.

The SC appreciated the state government, the good people of Ebonyi state, the collaborating agencies and all camp officials for their tremendous contributions to the successful execution of the orientation course
